Recover your account
If you can no longer sign in to your Laumika creator account because you lost access to its email address, you can ask us to move it.
Read this first — what happens, and what does not
- Requests are reviewed by a person. A reviewer can now judge a request — but no account can be moved to a new email address yet, because that step is still being built. We are not going to tell you a date we cannot keep.
- Your request is preserved and does not expire. Filing it now is not wasted. It is recorded with the details of your profile as they stand today, which is what a reviewer will eventually judge — so filing early records a stronger case, not a weaker one.
- Recovery requires at least one verified social account on your profile. That is how we confirm you are you: a request is proved by demonstrating control of a social account that was already verified on the profile before the request. If your profile has no verified social account, we will not be able to complete a recovery for you — you can still file, and it will be kept, but be aware of that limit now rather than later.
If we can send you a code, it arrives by email. Enter it at laumika.com/recover/verify to confirm you control that address — it expires 15 minutes after it is sent.
We will contact you by email only. If a request is filed against your account, we email the address currently on the account so the person who still holds it finds out.
Every request gets the same acknowledgement, whether or not the handle exists. That is deliberate — it stops anyone using this form to find out which handles have accounts. It means the acknowledgement is not a confirmation that anything is under way.
